We seeking a seasoned leader to manage all aspects of departmental administration including financial and clinical operations, faculty affairs, the human resources and other diverse issues. Provide leadership and management when coordinating these activities; to collaborate with Department Chair, Practice Group Administrator (PGA) and other members of MFA administrative team in achieving the goals and objectives of the department of ophthalmology and the MFA.
Requirements: A Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field necessary. Master’s degree in Health Care Administration or an equivalent combination of training and experience is preferred. Experience Four to six years of practice management experience to include patient registration, insurance verification, patient care support services management and supervisory experience is necessary. Experience in Ophthalmology is preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills are necessary. Competencies Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner. Must be able to follow and understand instructions, and react favorably in all work situations. Must have strong interpersonal skills and be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people at various levels within and outside the MFA.
