HARTZ Search is excited to offer an outstanding leadership opportunity with one of our newest clients – Levine Children’s in Charlotte, North Carolina; Levine Children's is a 247-bed, Magnet Accredited pediatric hospital located on the campus of Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina and is part of Atrium Health. Our client is seeking a dynamic & experienced DIRECTOR OF NURSING - NEONATAL INTENSIVE CARE SERVICES to lead the department and team to achieve World Class Status, quality patient outcomes and an exceptional patient experience. The Director of Nursing - Neonatal Intensive Care Services for Levine Children's plans, organizes and directs all aspects of a busy Neonatal Intensive Care Services – 85 total beds to comply with standards set forth by regulatory organizations and integrate the departmental activities in to the overall organization.
Responsible for NICU – 53 beds & Progressive Care Unit – 32 beds
Reports to AVP, Nursing
2 Direct Reports and over 200 FTE’s
Level IV NICU – Regional referral for NICU services

EDUCATIONAL, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse or temporarily license as a Registered Nurse Practitioner in the state of North Carolina and or compact licensure in the state of residence.
Master’s Degree in Nursing or MBA/MHA required.
Minimum of five (5) years of management experience. Proven ability to work on multiple goals with track record of goal achievement. Prefer experience leading facility project teams.
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
Additional Salary Information: 10% annual incentive plan offered
