Job Summary: Perform all necessary test protocols on patients as deemed necessary by physician. Provide a preliminary report for all patients; Contacts physician if a critical finding is obtained. Performs ultrasound guided pseudo-aneurysm compression under the direct supervision of vascular surgeon. Assists vascular surgeon in ultrasound guided pseudo-aneurysm injections. Maintains Vascular Laboratory standards as set by Inter-societal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL). Participation in QA evaluations. On-call availability. Other required responsibilities in order to maintain the standard of excellence. Is knowledgeable of, adheres to and promotes safe practices.
