Cedar Hills Hospital and Outpatient Services - located just 15 minutes from downtown Portland - is a 94-bed, free-standing psychiatric hospital and outpatient center specializing in mental health and substance use disorder treatment. The Program Therapist performs functions assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs and gaining skills through therapeutic treatment to achieve their optimal level of emotional health, including providing basic consultation, teaching. Also completes specialized clinical social work services for patients/families requiring care, crisis intervention, short-term and long-term family therapy, and providing information and referrals as needed. The Program Therapist is responsible for planning and coordinating activities related to discharge planning. Developing and implementing a plan or care designed to meet the patient's post hospitalization needs while ensuring continuity of care. No supervisory function.
