Texas NeuroRehab Center (TNC) provides complex medical and brain injury rehab, chemical dependency treatment for adults and neuropsychiatric treatment for youth. The capabilities of the facility as a whole allow for integrated and specialized care for children, adolescents and adults facing difficult challenges.
Texas NeuroRehab is currently accepting applications for a Chemical Dependency Counselor - PRN. The role of this person will be to provide substance counseling to inpatients and outpatients.

Provide individual and group substance abuse counseling when indicated.
Provide group experiential therapy when indicated.
Participates effectively as an interdisciplinary treatment team member.
Completes all required documentation on time and in accepted formats.
Participates in hospital wide performance improvement activities, committees, and special departmental projects and activities as assigned.
Continuously improves clinical skills.
Maintains professional demeanor in dress, attitude, support of unit milieu, and hospital mission and philosophy.
Maintains mandatory training as required by the position.
