Rockford Center is seeking a dynamic and talented Patient Safety Specialist.
Rockford Center is Delaware's first private psychiatric facility and remains a leader in providing behavioral health care services and continues its commitment to providing quality health care. Rockford Center, a 138-bed acute psychiatric hospital continues to provide a full continuum of behavioral health services to geriatrics, adults, adolescents, and children.
The Patient Safety Specialist will assist in the safety management of the facility by ensuring patients and visitors are free of contraband.
Key Responsibilities include:
Assist in monitoring of patients in the lobby and assessment areas.
Complete inventory searches of patient belongings and document appropriately.
Assist admissions staff in escorting patients to appropriate units.
Conduct body searches on new admissions. Also assist other ARC staff with searches.
Complete daily log to track search completion.
Participates in hospital emergency codes necessary to maintain the hospital's safe operation. Monitors patients to ensure their safety while they are waiting.
