Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital seeks a full-time Speech Language Pathologist. You will interpret, organize, apply and, as necessary, modify medically prescribed evaluations and treatments for neonatal through geriatric inpatient populations. Your role will also include performing modified barium swallow studies for inpatients as well as outpatients. To qualify, you must be ASHA/CCC certified and comfortable working with patients of diverse cultural backgrounds, ages, developmental issues, physical/functional impairments and other differing characteristics. We prefer candidates with pediatric and adult experience with emphasis on swallowing and swallowing disorders, as well as assessment and treatment of speech, language and cognitive disorders in an acute care setting. MBS experience in adult population is required. California SLP license required.
