Under the general guidance of the Cook County Health and Hospitals System (CCHHS) Pharmacy Director, the Assistant Director of Pharmacy Purchasing and Billing shall oversee the purchasing of pharmaceuticals and pharmacy supplies for the Cook County Health and Hospitals System pharmacies.
Must hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
Must be licensed as a Pharmacist in the State of Illinois in good standing.
Must have at least five (5) years of full-time work experience in pharmacy purchasing.
Must have five (5) years of full-time work experience in pharmacy management.
Experience in 340B or other government funded programs.
Experience in preparing RFPs, contract negotiations, and managing to contract terms.
Experience with inventory processes and purchasing systems required (ESI, Lawson etc.)
Master of Business Administration.
Project management experience.
