Instructor/Assistant Professor/ Associate Professor of Medical Laboratory Science program; for a full-time, 12 month/24 credit, tenure track faculty position to begin in August 2019 within the Department of Diagnostic and Treatment Sciences.
Required Qualifications and Education: Bachelor’s degree and current MLS (ASCP) certification with minimum three years of experience working in a clinical laboratory. Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree must earn a Master’s degree prior to tenure. Strong communication, organizational, and problem solving skills are essential. Candidates must be committed to GVSU’s vision of inclusion and equity.
Preferred Qualifications and Education: Experience teaching post-secondary education in Medical Laboratory Science or lead training experience on clinical instrumentation and/or laboratory information systems. Master’s Degree or doctorate in MLS or related field. Candidates who value diversity of people, ideas, and experiences are desirable.
