Facilitates and monitors team efforts related to process management, supports strategic planning and deployment initiatives, and helps develop measurement systems to determine organizational improvement.
Determines and evaluates risk(s) and employs knowledge management tools and techniques in resolving organizational challenges.
Reports to the AVP of Clinical Laboratory Service.
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Demonstrated mature decision making skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, doctoral staff and management.
Demonstrated about to work with minimal supervision. Must be self-disciplined and organized.
Demonstrated ability to use various computer applications to organize data and produce reports/graphs.
Demonstrated ability to analyze data and draw accurate conclusions to promote error
reduction and service improvement.
Demonstrated creativity to develop a vision for organizational excellence
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) required.
ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist required.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Medical Technologist with additional experience in the field of Quality Systems Management and Organizational Excellence preferred.
Demonstrated success in error reduction processes preferred.
