The Regional Quality Director will provide will provide strategic leadership for all quality, population health, risk mitigation and safe guarding services within medical office locations owned and / or operated by Tenet Health system Medical, Inc. (�Tenet�) for the Arizona region (Phoenix and Tucson Markets). The Director will report directly to the to TPR�s CMO and indirectly to the TPR Arizona Group CEO. The Regional Quality Director will be instrumental in helping TPR develop, promote and implement patient safe guarding practices such as employee and patient safety centered around work protection controls consisting of such practices as needle stick reduction and post-exposure protocols, healthcare worker vaccination policies, emergency preparedness and infection prevention, i.e. Ebola and Tb. In addition, the Director will develop key initiatives around medical assistant credentialing, training, evaluation and assessment. The Director will play a central role in PCMH certification, quality initiatives, population health management, implementation of chronic care management codes and PQRS assessment and monitoring to avoid penalties. Qualifications: � BA or BS Degree. Master�s degree preferred. � Medical informatics, RN/NP/PA, ARNP � Minimum of 3-5 years working in a physician office as an RN with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. � Must demonstrate past success in using data and adding knowledge-based insight when making business decisions. � Demonstrated success in management of projects with cross-functional interdependence. � Proven track record of delivering measureable business results. � Ability to instruct others, especially peers and clients to explain clinical and technical concepts. � Creative thinker who can implement innovative solutions. � Excellent organizational skills, analytical ability, and strong attention to detail. � Flexibility and willingness to take on new tasks and challenges � Professional attitude � comfortable working in a diverse corporate setting � Understanding of medical terminology and EMRs. � Strong computer literacy including MS-Word, Excel and PowerPoint. � Previous people management experience is a plus, but not required. � Preferred: experience with population health experience, ACO or clinically integrated networks; familiarity with HEDIS metrics, understanding of CMS star rating and risk adjustment factors). � Certification/Licensure: RN or NP License/Boards Job: Corporate Primary Location: Phoenix, Arizona Facility: Tenet Physician Resources Job Type: Full-time Shift Type: Days Employment practices will not be influenced or affected by an applicant�s or employee�s race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status or any other legally protected status.
