ruralMED Management Resources is searching for an experienced Chief Executive Officer to guide and direct all strategic and business aspects of our growing company. To thrive as our CEO, you must be a thoughtful and inspiring leader with a business mindset and the ability to envision, encompass, and direct the overall strategy for our diverse service lines. This individual will take actions to enhance the company’s financial position while supporting the culture and people that are the foundation of our success. The CEO will report to the ruralMED Board of Directors. The position is located in Holdrege, Nebraska.
Develop high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives.
Guide a high performing managerial team to lead and motivate subordinates to advance employee engagement.
Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.
Make high-quality decisions to advance the business growth and increase profits.
Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company’s legality and business ethics.
Utilize both financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements to operations.
Build trust relations with key partners and stakeholders.
Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure the company’s survival and growth.
Commit to developing a deep knowledge of the healthcare markets and service lines that the company is involved in.

This position operates in a fast-paced professional office environment, with a high level of activity and frequent interruptions and multiple competing demands. Work continues beyond normal office hours. Some travel is an expectation.
This role routinely used standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is usually in an air and temperature-controlled environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild to moderate.
Required Education, Experience and Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business and/or Healthcare related field is required, Master’s Degree is preferred.
3+ years of senior management or executive level position experience.
Experience in working directly with or reporting to a Board of Directors is preferred.
Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision.
An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
Strong understanding of finance and performance management principles.
Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, finance, etc.
In-depth knowledge of management best practices.
Position is based in Holdrege, Nebraska and therefore must be willing to relocate to proximity of the community.
