As the Assistant Vice President of Planning and Business Development at NorthBay Healthcare, you will manage development and deployment of the health system’s strategic, facility/real estate and business planning processes across all organizational entities and business units. By leveraging industry and local-market insights you will provide direction and guidance to NorthBay leaders in developing strategically aligned initiatives and sound strategies for business development and optimization.
leading and providing consultation on strategic growth opportunities by identifying and evaluating business opportunities, developing corresponding business plans, and supporting implementation of new businesses that will serve to enhance the overall effectiveness and fiscal viability of NorthBay, and ensure the optimal level of healthcare delivery to the communities served is an integral part of the role. Leading. developing and managing the organization’s external physician alignment and retail growth strategies are top priorities. Under the leadership of the Chief Strategy Officer, and in conjunction with the Vice President, Payer Strategy, this AVP will develop and support the NorthBay Healthcare growth strategy.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or related field required.
Master's Degree in Business Administration/Healthcare Management preferred.
Five (5) or more years of experience in strategy, planning, analysis, finance, business development, preferably within a healthcare environment at Director level.
Eight (8) or more years of progressive experience as a manager.
Proven capabilities in building strong, trusted relationships with partners and collaborators and ability to positively influence them.
Experience in managing work teams who have completed complex analytical and strategic projects, along with leading projects that require consensus and continuous interaction with senior management and physician leaders.
Ability to develop and manage project schedules for business development and planning initiatives.
Demonstrated leadership and ability to advance or sell ideas to the organization.
Mastery of strategy and quantitative analysis of business and market trends, with a strong financial acumen.
