In conjunction with the Medical Director of Emergency Preparedness, the Director of Emergency Preparedness coordinates a comprehensive hospital emergency preparedness program to prepare for natural disasters or other emergencies to minimize risk to patients, families, employees, and property. In doing so, the director will incorporate mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery functions. The director also maintains relationships with external organizations and officials to facilitate plan development, response effort coordination, and exchanges of personnel and equipment. Finally, the director is responsible for the Safety Management Plan and all related activities for all facilities.
Master’s degree in Nursing or other healthcare degree and 5-7 years’ experience with Healthcare Management.
Previous related experience is strongly preferred
RNs who reside in Kansas hold a Kansas Multi-State (Compact) License, required upon hire.
RNs who reside in Missouri hold a Missouri Multi-State (Compact) License, required upon hire.

Strong personal computing and project management skills.
