Abrazo Mesa Hospital (The hospital is located at 5750 E. Baseline Rd.) is our sister hospital to Abrazo Central Campus. Abrazo Mesa Hospital will focus on providing emergency room services and less complex inpatient procedures. It will include a 12-bed emergency department, an operating room and eight inpatient rooms, along with additional services. The facilityï¿½s emergency department will be open around the clock and staffed by board-certified emergency physicians. Additional services will include surgery, diagnostic imaging, laboratory, pharmacy and other outpatient services in the 32,500 square foot building.

Prepares solutions, labels tubes and specimen containers, collects specimens and performs simple tests under supervision. Performs routine technical and clerical functions. May operate simple lab equipment under supervision. Processes anatomic pathology and cytology specimens. Obtains blood specimens for all age groups serviced. Asisits pathologists as needed. Uses, maintains and cleans laboratory equipment and uses protective equipment to protect form exposure to chemical, radiation and infectious hazards. Must be knowledgeable of emergency procedures. Performs phlebotomist duties as assigned.
Special Skills: Computer skills and ability to work under deadlines. Requires a high degree of accuracy in various responsibilities and frequent contact with customers.
High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
Master ability to complete blood draws independently within six-weeks of hire.
Completion of a phlebotomy program.
Six months lab experience.
