| The Director Clinical Research is responsible for operations of clinical trials including management of research managers, research coordinators, research assistants, and technicians. Develops policies, procedures and strategic plans for business development and growth of clinical trials. Oversees clinical development of protocols for clinical research trials, negotiation of project budgets, preparation of case report forms, summaries and reports for FDA submissions. Ensures compliance with protocols and GCPs, coordinates activities with sponsors, oversees IND studies. Serves as a knowledgeable resource about the clinical trial process and procedures and provides education for staff and investigators. Responsible for developing and maintaining databases of investigators, patient populations and sponsors. The Director Clinical Research is responsible for developing collaborative relationships with investigators and industry for conducting clinical trials to increase clinical trial activity by identifying investigators. Serves as contact with sponsors and investigators, and develops relations with sponsors and investigators to facilitate study placement. Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of research experience including experience managing other research professionals.
