| JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for performing the tasks associated with controlling inventoried supplies. This includes stocking of bin locations, placing charge stickers on chargeable items, requisitioning items from inventory to user departments, and checking stock items for proper counts and rotation of stock, including removal of outdates. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 year of hospital med/surg supply inventory control experience required to include:
- Materials Management Information System Experience
- Inventory Transactions (ex. Receipts, Issues, Credits)
- Inventory Adjustments (ex. Shrinkage, Obsolescence, Conversions, Outdates, Etc.)
- Perpetual Inventory Experience
- Cycle Counting
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: - Self-motivated and ability to prioritize required.
- Verbal and written skills and ability to learn and use the materials management information system (MMIS) are required.
- Basic computer skills required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Able to stand & walk frequently.
- Able to lift/carry 0-20 lbs frequently; 21-50 lbs occasionally.
- Able to push/pull 0-20 lbs frequently; 21-75 lbs occasionally.
- Able to reach constantly.
- Able to use hands for simple/firm grasping.
