-Accurately perform moderate complexity and waved laboratory testing according to established protocols.
-Perform instrument maintenance, recognize and troubleshoot instrument problems.
-Verify and approve test results, monitoring results for accuracy and critical values.
-Assist clinicians in interpreting test results within the scope of the profession.
-Perform QC and QC tasks as required.
_Follow safety and infection control procedures.
-Prepares or collects correct specimens for tests ordered.
-Participate in continuing education.
Minimum requirement of 2 year degree, Certification as MLT, MT, CLS,CLT.
Recommended- 1 year laboratory experience, and 1 year phlebotomy experience
