JOB SUMMARY: This position is accountable for the direct and indirect care of patient's/families as assigned under the direction and supervision of the physician and/or Registered Nurse. The technician's practice is performed within the scope of training and in accordance with Valley Children's policies. Call required. Holiday call and inhouse Holiday shifts divided equally among all staff.
REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED required. Successful completion of Operating Room Technician training program required. BLS - Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire or transfer into position required. Minimum six (6) months related experience preferred. Medical terminology preferred.
POSITION DETAILS: Part-time, 40 hours per pay period. 2 ten-hour shifts per week. 0645-1715 primarily, with possibility of needing to cover off shift PTO and leaves.
