Advanced Histopathology Technician, is responsible for the independent evaluation of H&E and multiple special stained slides for proper tissue preparation and staining reaction upon which diagnoses of medical diseases including cancer are made. Testing is performed on tissue from all anatomic sites of the body. Duties require understanding of the chemistry, biology, and anatomy involved.
