Position is located within Imaging Service at the Hershel "Woody" Williams VA Medical Center, in Huntington, WV. Diagnostic Ultrasound uses high frequency sound waves and other-diagnostic techniques for medical purposes. The Ultrasound technologist must be competent in the production, use, recognition, and analysis of ultrasound images and patterns used for patient diagnosis and treatment. The Ultrasound technologist is regarded as the expert source of all ultrasound imaging.
