• Proficiency in performing technical imaging procedure, on all age groups regardless of age, race or sex, while providing efficient and courteous care.
• Reports and resolves customer service issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Works with radiology staff and other departments, (ED, OR, Main Department etc.) to facilitate coordinated patient care.
• Efficient utilization of supplies and resources including recognizing and reporting of equipment malfunction of equipment to prevent costly repair.
• Complies with Joint Commission standards and directives.
• Follow patient identification / verification process prior to performing exam or procedure.
• Demonstrates evidence of continuous professional development.

• Successful completion of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology with advanced certification in one or both CT.
• 1 year hospital experience
• Current Florida X-ray technologist HRS license.
• ARRT ( R )(CT) or ARRT (R)(MR)/could also be both ARRT (R)(CT)(MR)
• BLS certification

Performs a variety of technical scanning procedures that require independent judgement and initiative as required in the application of ionizing radiation for Cat Scanning and Xray procedures. Be responsible for designated areas, policies, and equipment.
