Work Hours/Shifts:

FT Day Shift

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Assists Operational Excellence leadership in facilitation and implementation of LEAN methodologies through assisting in coaching and teaching Gordon Hospital's LEAN course
• Assist in prioritizing analytic needs for performance improvement projects, corporate requirements and accountabilities
• Contributes to decision making by effectively presenting researched information so that relevant data can be aggregated into summary form within presentations & meetings
• Provides regular Operational Excellence and Patient Experience Excel & PowerPoint updates as applicable to Gordon Hospital and Murray Medical Center business units and strategic partners using standardized department resources to fulfill communication responsibilities
• Attends hospital wide departmental board huddles collecting survey information on huddle usage, efficiency of huddles and tracks action items relevant to assigned department
  

What You Will Need:

• Mastery of desktop applications and database programs, particularly MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Demonstrates independent decision making and problem-solving resolution skills
• LEAN healthcare performance improvement principles preferred
• ASN or a valid nursing license with a bachelor's degree in similar healthcare field
• 2-4 years of experience as an analyst working with healthcare data/informatics & teaching experience required
• Georgia RN license

Job Summary:

The Clinical Data Analyst performs a variety of technical and analytical duties by providing support, utilizing Lean practices. Reporting to the Operational Excellence Manager, the Clinical Data Analyst assists with Operational Excellence projects, initiatives, reports or other assignments performing a variety of reporting and analysis functions.
