Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist
Perform routine radiographic studies and variety of difficult radiography examinations such as cholangiographic, tomography and assists in myelography, etc. Utilizes a technologically advanced imaging system, Picture Archive and communication System (P.A.C.S). This system is used to obtain and subsequently process and produce high diagnostic digital images through a series of computer interfaces and image plate reading apparatus. Incumbent receives patients and explains the entire procedure, positions the patient, selects and sets up radiographic equipment for correct MAS, KV and time. Sets up and adjusts necessary radiographic equipment required and makes scout films and final exposures necessary for the requested procedures.
