Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (MRI)
Position is an operator of a superconductive magnet resonance unit. This technology is undergoing constant development and its application to clinical patient examinations has been and will be undergoing significant development. The MRI Technologist will be performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA) of the head, neck, spine, chest and body. These exams are performed with and without the use of contrast materials. Incumbent schedules exams in a manner that optimizes all of the MRI equipment capabilities while maintaining the flexibility to allow for emergency cases. This requires the prioritization of scheduled patients as well as the ability to accommodate the extreme emergent patient who may need immediate attention. Additional duties includes: D
