The primary role of the Technical Coordinator is to serve as a technical resource and provide technical coordination on projects and large service requests. Responsibilities will be to provide comprehensive analysis and recommend optimal technical solutions to project teams, customers, and stakeholders. The Technical Coordinator is accountable for ensuring that clear, concise requirements have been captured from the customer, coordinating execution workflow, facilitating solution design, and communicating projected labor requirements to the delivery teams and leadership.
Manage project planning, solution designs, configurations, communications, and implementation of project tasks to deliver robust environments that meet customer requirements, in collaboration with the project management and other technology teams, for small to medium projects.
Collect, consolidate, evaluate and refine project requirements with the customer, translate into technical requirements, and recommend solutions, standardizing where possible.
Work with Project Managers and Senior Technical Coordinators on project assessment and estimation, resource requirements, solution requirements, and coordinate project execution resources.
Responsible for the recommendation, validation, and adherence to defined standards.
Manage effective relationships and work in partnership with customers, leadership, team members, vendors, and contractors to deliver robust technical solutions while ensuring that service level commitments and project timelines are maintained.
Facilitate and coordinate project purchases, project execution resources and vendors.
Work with appropriate technology teams to ensure that project deployments are operationally ready and new technologies are fully handed off to Service Operations staff for on-going support.
Execute project tasks, working with and directing project analysts and vendors.
Provide analytical and technical expertise in a credible manner ensuring successful project implementation and outstanding service delivery.
Provide timely status updates to customers, project team, and leadership.
Identify and communicate project risks, delays, and roadblocks.
Coordinate with other technology teams across the organization to ensure prompt and appropriate hand-off of project tasks.
Actively manage a portfolio of assigned projects and requests.
Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
Analyze and provide input to the continual improvement of processes, policies, and best practices to ensure the highest possible customer satisfaction.
Champion IT delivery processes and strategies.
Ability to manage projects at multiple locations with onsite availability.
Responsible for performing work at multiple Fairview sites and transporting equipment as needed within a scheduled shift.
Bachelors (4-year degree) or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience with focus on Information Technology/Systems related technical field.
4+ years of working in IT operations, delivery, and support in an enterprise (10,000+ users) or healthcare environment.
Reliable personal transportation to perform work at multiple sites during a scheduled shift.
Proven ability to build effective working relationships with customers and clients.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to relate technical information to non-technical audiences.
Excellent customer service focus, highly organized, and team oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
Extensive technical knowledge and competency in configuring, implementing and/or operating endpoint solutions (desktops, laptops, tablets, phones, networks, printers, scanners, etc.).
Bachelors (4-year degree) or equivalent work experience with focus on Information Technology/Systems related technical field.
6+ years working in IT operations, delivery, and support in an enterprise (10,000+ users) or healthcare environment.
Reliable transportation to perform work at multiple sites during a scheduled shift.
Excellent technical writing skills.
Experience with data analysis, metrics, and reporting.
Proven ability to manage components of small to medium projects and successfully coordinate completion of tasks among several team members and/or vendors.
Demonstrated ability in successfully resolving issues regardless of seniority or organizational boundaries.
Experience with ServiceNow.
