Client Services Rep, Lab Services (up to 19 hrs/wk)
The Client Services Representative provides the administrative and technical skills necessary to organize, supervise, and complete various medical laboratory procedures within a section. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Uses the UCB telephone system. Acts as liaison between customers and other laboratory divisions to provide assistance and/or technical advice, directions, and information. Interacts with customers toward effective problem resolution. Answers incoming telephone calls concerning laboratory test results, specimen requirements, turnaround times and dispatches couriers to pick up specimens. Makes outgoing telephone calls to clients regarding critical values, canceled tests or to follow up on client requ
