Job Summary: The Radiation Therapy Technologist is responsible for technical work involving the operation of complex radiation therapy equipment and the proper planning, positioning and treatment of patients in the Radiation Medicine Division of the Westchester Medical Center. The Radiation Therapy Technologist independently performs both radiation therapy including the use of Linear Accelerators, Simulators and the performance of teletherapy and brachytherapy, and stereotactic radiosurgery. Partial supervision may be exercised over technical and clerical support staff in the way of quality control of work. Does related work as required. Responsibilities: * Positions and monitors patients and treatments to assure safety
