PRIMARY FUNCTION: To ensure that instrument sets are maintained, completed and in working order. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Proactively identify problems or issues with surgical instrument and instruments sets, including but not limited to monitoring missing instruments, monitoring set usage, reassembling sets and tracking instrument preventive maintenance. Manage instrument /equipment repair process including but not limited to tracking pricing, obtain purchase orders, tracking returns and set completion. Manage instrument ordering process including but not limited to tracking pricing, ordering, tracking instrument receipt and set completion.
