ChristianaCare's Union Hospital Imaging Department is currently recruiting for a Full Time MRI/CT Technologist to work in our Hospital primarily on the day shift, 8am-4:30pm. The successful candidate will support the team covering evenings occasionally, 2 Holidays a year, and one weekend a month either on call or working in the facility. The successful candidate will:
Performs MRI procedures as defined by departmental protocols
Performs duties in RIS, HIS, and Intergy computer systems and accurately enter patient data.
Completes transmission of optimum quality images to PACS system
Ensures adequate history of patient is obtained and documented
Performs QC and is able to digitize films
Provides superior customer service to patients, family members, and all members of the health care team
Completion of ARRT, CNMRT, and/or RDMS registry required. (Successful completion of the MRI Registry exam is a job requirement. A technologist who is recruited and non-certified in CT will have a grace period of 2 years following hire to pass this exam).
Completion of a 2 year associates degree program in Radiology.
Completion of formal MRI training.
1 year experience as an MRI Technologist preferred
