Job Summary A Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist is both a Registered Respiratory Therapist AND either a Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT) or a Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT) who has been validated by successful completion of the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) requirements. They maintain a professional RCP license by the Texas Medical Board. This position will emphasize advanced testing of the cardiopulmonary system to include pediatric and adult exercise pulmonary stress testing. This position will also be instrumental in education and research studies.
