This position serves in the Emergency Department Nursing Service at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System. Is responsible for expediting the care and treatment of patients but not limited to: performing routine and complex patient care duties, ensuring implementation of all requested diagnostic exams, urgent acknowledgement of and assistance with the management of patients with life-threatening injuries, illnesses, chronic diseases, substance disorders and psychiatric emergencies.
