Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per-Diem Phlebotomist for their Newton Medical Center location to work varied shifts including every other weekend.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities of Position:
Accurately perform phlebotomy and specimen collection of inpatients and outpatients.
Perform computer, processing and clerical functions essential to laboratory operations.
Processes and /or packages specimens according to testing specifications.
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Completion of a certified phlebotomy program and ASCP certification preferred
Relevant Work Experience:
Laboratory, physician office or clinic experience preferred
Medical terminology experience preferred
