We seek full-time Medical Laboratory Scientists for our clinics in Edina and Eden Prairie. Flexible full-time hours include: day shift (8am-5pm), evening clinic until 8:30pm, and Saturday morning (8am-12pm) rotation.

Medical Lab Scientist Responsibilities:

• in-house testing includes but not limited to: urinalysis, hematology, microbiology, PCR, and kit tests
• collect NP, throat, and nasal swabs
• phlebotomy on all ages of patients including heel-sticks on newborns
• specimen preparation for reference lab send-out
• test result reporting to appropriate physicians
• run and chart quality control for all procedures
• perform routine maintenance on instruments

Medical Lab Scientist Qualifications:

• ASCP certification: either currently certified or able to sit for test within 6 months of hire
• the MLS must work effectively in a fast-paced environment to promote our high standard of customer satisfaction
• MLS candidates must work well with children
• electronic medical record experience is preferred
