Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist
The technologist operates independently and without direct supervision as the technologist responsible for the performance and coordination of all diagnostic radiology examinations. These exams are performed with and/or without the use of contrast materials. Also performs DEXA (dual energy absorptiometry) bone mineral density exams of the spine, extremities, and pelvis. The purpose of these exams is to achieve diagnostic studies so that proper diagnosis and treatment may be effectuated. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Be a citizen of the United States. Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
