Job Summary: The Surgical Technologist I (ST I) assists the surgical team in operative procedures utilizing proper aseptic technique. The ST I has current knowledge of equipment, suture, and procedures being performed. The ST I demonstrates personal and professional effectiveness. This position is exclusively for individuals grandfathered under Texas Health and Safety Code Title 4, Subtitle B, Chapter 259.002(a)(3)Minimum QualificationsEducation: High School diploma or equivalent. Graduation from an accredited school of Surgical Technology.Licensure & Certification: Basic Life Support from a hospital-based American Heart Association (AHA) approved program.
