Overview Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Histology Technician for our Morris Plains Lab to work 3pm - 11pm five days per week and every other weekend.Responsibilities Essential Functions/Responsibilities of Position:Capable of performing all duties/responsibilities of a HistotechnologistEnsure proper accessioning and labeling of all tissue samplesProcess paperwork associated with accessioning and reportingEnsure proper tissue processingEmbed processed tissue in paraffinPerform microtomy of embedded tissuePrepare slides for routine Hematoxylin and Eosin stainingPerform cover slipping of stained slides either manually or automatedPrepare solutions and reagents for special s
