Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a FT Sterile Processing Technician at Morristown Medical Center to work 11PM-7AM including every other weekend.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Responsible for decontamination, prepping and packaging, sterilization, storage process of all surgical instrumentation, case cart and patient care equipment.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
High School diploma or GED required
License/Certifications:
CBSPD/IAHCSMM or CRCST certification
Minimum Experience:
Knowledge of case care preparation system, surgical instruments, and the different methods of sterilization (steam, HLD, Hydrogen).
Basic computer knowledge with an instrument tracking system.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Must be able to push, pull heavy sterilization transport carts
Prolonged standing
Basic computer knowledge with an Instrument Tracking system
Complete knowledge of a case cart preparation system
Familiarity with correct materials for packaging and wrapping all instrument sets and trays
