Nemours is looking for a TEMP casual traveling Ophthalmic tech to cover Wilmington DE and our satellite offices of Philadelphia and Bryn Mawr. This is a 16 hours a week posting. The Ophthalmic Technician assists and works under the direct supervision of the Ophthalmologist. The responsibilities require performance of a preliminary examination on all patients, which can include but is not limited to, a complete medical and ocular history, lensometry, stereopsis, color testing, visual acuity, tonopen, slit lamp exam, applanation tonometry, visual fields, pupil dilation, fundus , photography, and OCT's.
