Overview Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per diem Patient Safety Technician to work varied shifts, including every other weekend at Hackettstown Medical Center.Responsibilities Provide one to one observation for patients that are of high risk for self-harm, fall risk and who are risk of interruptions of medical necessities.Assisting the patient to bathroom, meals and maintaining a safe environment.Required to stay in the room with the patient and be within an arm's reach of the patient in the event of an emergency.Required to document on a flow sheet their observation time. The PST may also be required to maintain the patient video monitoring screen and communicate with the nursing team via vocera.Qualifications
