Position SummaryThis postion provides general supervison for assigned staff to ensure daily technical operations, achieve and comply with established operating budget, quality control, procedural, equipment, inventory management and regulatory standards under the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. This position performs general, routine, and complex histologic functions, histochemical and immunohistochemical testing, as well as highly complex, advanced histologic assay development, optimization, and validation according to clearly prescribed procedures and laboratory techniques or developmental methods. This position receives managerial review of completed work activities from the Anatomic Pathology manager. This position supervises laboratory staff.
