This position is in the Patient Care Service in the Gastroenterology unit primarily at the East Orange campus in the VA New Jersey Health Care System Medical Center. The technician assigned to Endoscopy performs work at both East Orange and Lyons campuses and isresponsible for performing a variety of highly technical and patient care functions. The endoscopy technician receives assignments to provide population specific care to patients. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
