JOB SUMMARY:The Nurse Technician II (NT II) is accountable for supporting patient care activities, under the supervision of a registered nurse on inpatient nursing units. The NT II works closely with the charge nurse and staff nurses to assure that patient care needs are met. The NT II is competent in performing patient care activities, as delegated, and adheres to patient safety measures. The NT II has knowledge of medical terminology and possesses communication, organizational, and computer skills. The NT II demonstrates personal and professional effectiveness.
