Job Description

CT Technologist - MSK Commack

Join our Radiology team at MSK Commack! We are seeking a CT Technologist at our freestanding outpatient facility located in Commack, Long Island.

Role Overview:

• Perform a variety of CT. and X-ray imaging procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity with minimal supervision, on patients of all age groups.
• Operate CT scanners and associated equipment safely and in accordance with established policies and practices.
• Explain procedures to patients, monitoring for patient safety and comfort, administering contrast (IV and/or Oral).
• Conduct imaging in accordance to established protocols and quality standards.
• Enter complete and accurate documentation into all MSK/Radiology systems.
• Perform general radiology procedures.

Key Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree / Certified Vocational Training or Graduate of a 2 yr AMA approved Radiology school.
• ARRT in Radiography and CT
• Minimum 2 yrs experience in CT preferred and operating GE systems.
• NYS Department of Health License in Diagnostic Radiography, IV Certification
• Registered/certified in MR a plus or working towards certification.

Additional Information:

• Location: MSK Commack, in Commack, Long Island.
• Schedule: 8 hours flexed between 7am to 8pm, 4days, Monday - Friday and 8 hours flexed between 7am to 4pm, every Saturday.
• Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Regional Radiology

Pay Range: $45.29-$72.42/hr.

$10,000 bonus for new hires!
