We seek a Pharmacy Driver/Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30-4:30pm CST with lunch from 12:00-1:00pm CST; will make deliveries Monday-Friday 10am to 12 pm and 2pm to 4:30pm (mileage reimbursement allotted)
Location: 2662 Elmwood Road, Suite 101 Rockford, IL 61103
Primary Responsibilities:
- Delivery of medications in the morning and afternoons Monday-Friday (mileage reimbursement allotted)
- Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
- Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
- Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
- Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
- Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
- Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
- Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
- Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
- Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Illinois
- Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license
- Ability to use own's vehicle to make deliveries
- Ability to make deliveries in the mornings and afternoons Monday-Friday
