The Lead Intermediate Care Technician (ICT) within the Emergency Department (ED) is assigned to the Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA). This position serves as an advanced technician for the ED for patients who are present for treatment while also serving as an ICT position subject matter expert (SME), mentor, monitor, and coach for ICTs.
