OverviewThe Child Passenger Safety (CPS) Technician is responsible for coordinating the child passenger safety program in accordance with State Highway Safety Grant and Project Agreement. This includes coordinating the day-to-day functions of the program, serving as the primary contact person for the Fairbanks Safe Rider Program, providing education on CPS to parents and caregivers, coordinating CPS check-up events, scheduling appointments for home visits related to CPS and teaching the Certified CPS technician course.
