The role you’ll contribute:
The interventional technologist is a vital member of a multidisciplinary team consisting of interventional radiologists, nurses and technologists. Interventional technology procedures consist of diagnostic angiography, complex vascular and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
· Resolves customer service issues in a timely, courteous and efficient manner.
· Demonstrates proficiency in performing technical Imaging procedures on all patient age groups and ability to teach the same.
· Provides imaging procedures to all patients, regardless of age, race or sex
· Technologist is proficient on the use of their specific imaging equipment and the department's policies and procedures
· Demonstrates effective communication skills with all staff, patients, families and Imaging services administration
· Works with other modality staff to facilitate patient care across modalities
· Maintains satisfactory participation and attendance at required meetings and staff development programs
· Demonstrates competency and knowledge of specific supplies needed. Able to perform cost containment and minimize waste
· Demonstrates proficiency in performing technical imaging procedures safely according to Hospital standards of care. Select proper technical factors and positioning
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
· High School Diploma/equivalent
· Graduate from an approved school of Radiologic Technology
· Two years’ experience as a Registered Radiological Technologist
· ARRT and State of FL
