Job SummaryPrepares, operates, cleans, cares for, and restocks anesthesia supplies and equipment; assists in line placements and patient care as required by nurse anesthetists and anesthesiologists.Job DutiesAssists in setups for all emergent and non-emergent procedures, including open hearts and traumas.Obtains and prepares all equipment needed for transport of critically ill patients and assists in their transport.Assists in lifting and positioning of patients.Assists anesthetist during the induction of anesthesia as required.Orders and picks up local drugs and inhalational agents from Pharmacy.Stocks block carts with needed drugs.Requires knowledge of generic and current trade names of all pharmaceutical
