We’re looking for motivated students currently enrolled in an accredited Mammography program to join our Mammography Technologist Apprenticeship. This is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative, patient-centered environment that values excellence, innovation, and compassion.

What You’ll Do

As a Mammography Apprentice, you will:

• Operate state-of-the-art Mammography equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images under the direct supervision of licensed technologists and physicians.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while following all radiation safety protocols.
• Deliver timely, professional, and efficient care that reflects WakeMed’s commitment to excellence.
• Work closely with the Team Lead-Mammography and Imaging Services leadership to develop your technical and clinical skills.

Education & Credentials

• Required: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Preferred: Clinical experience in Radiology.
• Credentials: Registered Technologist for Radiography (ARRT).
